My artwork revolves around exploring the unusual, often through surrealism or through my personal interests like Greek and Korean mythology. After all, Greek and Korean mythology is heavily intertwined with the surreal—from the fantastical islands Odysseus visited on his way back home, to the wood totems that come alive to guard villages at night. My version of surrealism, in particular, focuses on conveying emotions through those impossible scenarios. Beyond my surrealist works, however, my more observationally-based works seeks to inspire interest in not just the odd, but also evoke self-reflection on what actions viewers can take to better the world.
